WELCOME TO COPENHAGEN CARNIVAL

In a color explosion of magic, gleaming sequences and happy samba rythms, we welcome you to the Copenhagen Carnival. The big traditional sambaparade takes place on Strøget Saturday morning 4th June from 11-13 o’clock, with great enthusiasm for both artists and audiences. This year, the festival continues throughout the day at different locations and venues in inner city. Use the hashtag #cphcarnival2022 to see what happens where.

Copenhagen Carnival Samba Danmark Denmark

Copenhagen Carnival is an annual cultural festival with the largest samba program in the Nordic countries, where groups from all over Europe participate, enchanting old as young people with live music and flashy costumes. The festival aims to spread the knowledge of the inclusive universe of world music, and create relationships between groups, schools and associations, both in Denmark and abroad. The party is inspired by Brazilian Samba, which is conducted in conjunction with the Brazilian landmark.
